We’re excited to welcome families to campus! If you click the booking link and do not see any available dates or times, it means that all current tour slots are fully booked. We encourage you to email our tours office at adriana.lopez@csusb.edu & tours@csusb.edu to be added to our waitlist. If space becomes available, our team will reach out to you.
- Who can attend a Prospective Student Campus Tour?
Our tours are designed for prospective first-year and transfer students, as well as students who have been admitted to CSUSB. Each student is welcome to bring up to four guests to share in the experience!
- How long is the tour, and what does it include?
Our 60-minute walking tour is led by a friendly and knowledgeable Coyote Ambassador who will guide you through key campus landmarks, introduce you to our academic programs, and highlight the student resources that make CSUSB a great place to learn and thrive. It's the perfect way to experience campus and see what being a Coyote is all about!
- Is there a fee for parking?
Great news! Parking is complimentary for Prospective Student Campus Tour guests. You'll receive instructions on how to get your parking pass in your confirmation email.
- Will we receive any materials or souvenirs during the tour?
Yes! Each student will receive a special swag bag with fun CSUSB goodies and helpful information to take home. We can’t wait to share a little piece of Coyote pride with you!
- What should I wear or bring to the tour?
We want you to be comfortable while exploring campus! We recommend wearing walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. A refillable water bottle and sunscreen are also great to have on hand so you can enjoy your visit to the fullest!
- Are accommodations available for individuals with disabilities?
Yes! We’re happy to provide mobility, visual or hearing accommodations to ensure everyone has a comfortable and enjoyable visit. Just let us know your needs in the booking form, and we’ll take care of the rest!
- Can I visit specific academic departments or meet with faculty during my tour?
Our tours provide a great overview of campus life, including key landmarks and student resources. If you’d like to meet with a specific department or faculty, we recommend reaching out to their office directly to schedule an appointment.
- Can I bring more than four guests?
To ensure the best experience for all visitors, we ask that each student only bring up to four guests. If you’d like to bring the whole family, we’d love to welcome you at one of our outreach programs and events, where everyone can join in the fun!
- What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule my tour?
You can easily reschedule or cancel your tour using the link in your confirmation email or by reaching out to our office. We're happy to help find a new time that works for you!
- What are the top things to explore outside of the tour?
There's so much more to experience at CSUSB! After your tour, we invite you to check out the resource centers on the third floor of Santos Manuel Student Union North, browse the Coyote Bookstore, or explore the John M. Pfau Library. If you're feeling hungry, grab a bite to eat at Coyote Commons or one of the other eateries on campus. Enjoy your visit!
- What is your late policy?
We ask guests to check in 10 minutes before the tour start time. Tours begin right on time to honor the families who arrive early.
If you arrive late, we will meet you with care and do our best to support you:
0–5 minutes late: We will try to catch you up on the tour.
