Description
We’re excited to welcome you to Cal State San Bernardino – Palm Desert Campus! Whether you're a future first-year student, a transfer student, a group exploring new opportunities, or an admitted student ready to take your next step, we can’t wait to show you around.
During your visit, you’ll join a 60-minute guided walking tour led by one of our friendly, knowledgeable Coyote Ambassadors. You’ll explore key campus spaces such as the Indian Wells Center for Educational Excellence and the Palm Desert Health Sciences Building, home to state-of-the-art classrooms and labs.
Along the way, you’ll learn about our academic programs, personalized support services, and what makes the Palm Desert Campus a unique, close-knit learning environment with small class sizes and meaningful connections.

Campus Visit Details
- Family Tours are available for the prospective student plus up to 3 guests.
- Group Tours are available for groups up to 30 students and at least 2 chaperones.
- Campus Walking Tour Length: Approximately 60 minutes.

Questions & Answers
- Who can attend a PDC Campus Tour?
Our tours are designed for prospective first-year and transfer students and group tours, as well as students who have been admitted to CSUSB. Each student is welcome to bring up to three guests to share in the experience! Group tours have a limit of 10 people and a maximum of 30 students.
- How long is the tour, and what does it include?
Our 60-minute walking tour is led by a friendly and knowledgeable Coyote Ambassador who will guide you through key campus landmarks, introduce you to our academic programs, and highlight the student resources that make CSUSB - Palm Desert Campus a great place to learn and thrive. It's the perfect way to experience campus and see what being a Coyote is all about!
- Is there a fee for parking?
Great news! Parking is complimentary for Prospective Student Campus Tour guests. You'll receive instructions on how to get your parking pass in your confirmation email.
- Will we receive any materials or souvenirs during the tour?
Yes! Each student will receive a special swag bag with fun CSUSB goodies and helpful information to take home. We can’t wait to share a little piece of Coyote pride with you!
- What should I wear or bring to the tour?
We want you to be comfortable while exploring campus! We recommend wearing walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. A refillable water bottle and sunscreen are also great to have on hand so you can enjoy your visit to the fullest! Please check the weather and be prepared.
- Are accommodations available for individuals with disabilities?
Yes! We’re happy to provide mobility, visual or hearing accommodations to ensure everyone has a comfortable and enjoyable visit. Just let us know your needs in the booking form, and email pdctours@csusb.edu at least two weeks in advance to ensure accommodations. You will receive an email confirmation regarding accommodations (if you do not receive an accommodations email, please contact us before your tour date).
- Can I visit specific academic departments or meet with faculty during my tour?
Our tours provide a great overview of campus life, including key landmarks and student resources. If you’d like to meet with a specific department or faculty, we recommend reaching out to their office directly to schedule an appointment.
- Can I bring more than three guests?
To ensure the best experience for all visitors, we ask that each student only bring up to three guests. If you’d like to bring the whole family, we’d love to welcome you at one of our outreach programs and events, where everyone can join in the fun!
- What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule my tour?
You can easily reschedule or cancel your tour using the link in your confirmation email or by reaching out to our office. We're happy to help find a new time that works for you!
