Now that you've been admitted to California State University, San Bernardino, it's time to take the next step toward your future! We invite you and your family to Choose CSUSB Day 2026, an exciting event designed to help you explore everything our campus has to offer.
This special day is all about experiencing life at CSUSB—meeting faculty, connecting with future classmates, and discovering the academic programs and resources that will support your success. From engaging sessions on financial aid and housing to guided campus tours, you'll get a firsthand look at why CSUSB is the right place for you.

- What is Choose CSUSB?
Choose CSUSB is an admitted student experience designed to help you explore campus, connect with the CSUSB community, and get the information you need to confidently take your next steps toward enrollment.
- Who should attend Choose CSUSB?
This event is for students who have been admitted to CSUSB for Fall 2026. Family members and supporters are also encouraged to attend.
- Why should I attend Choose CSUSB?
Choose CSUSB helps you:
Learn more about your academic program and campus resources
Connect with current students, faculty, and staff
Get answers to questions about financial aid, housing, and next steps
Experience campus life and see yourself as part of the CSUSB community
- Do I need to attend to enroll at CSUSB?
Attendance is not required, but it is highly recommended. Students who attend often feel more confident about their decision and better prepared for enrollment.
- What will I do during the event?
Activities may include:
Welcome sessions and campus tours
Academic and student life presentations
Resource fairs (financial aid, housing, advising, support programs)
Opportunities to connect with your Outreach Counselor
Opportunities to connect with Faculty from your Academic College/Major.
- Can I bring family members or guests?
Yes! Family members and supporters are welcome. Please be sure to register all guests so we can plan accordingly.
- How long is the event?
Choose CSUSB is a half-day experience, 1:00pm - 5:00pm. A detailed schedule will be shared closer to the event date.
- Is there a cost to attend?
No. Choose CSUSB is free for admitted students and their guests.
- Where will the event take place?
The event will be held on campus at Cal State San Bernardino. Parking and check-in details will be emailed to registered students prior to the event.
- What should I bring?
We recommend bringing:
Comfortable walking shoes
A water bottle
Any questions you have about CSUSB
- Will I get help with financial aid or next steps?
Yes. Staff will be available to answer questions about:
Financial aid and FAFSA
Housing and dining
Enrollment steps and deadlines
- What if I can’t attend?
If you’re unable to attend, don’t worry! Your assigned Outreach Counselor can still support you one-on-one. You’ll receive follow-up information after the event.
- Can I accept my offer of admissions and commit to CSUSB at this event?
Yes! Choose CSUSB will include a Commitment Station where students can receive step-by-step assistance to officially commit to CSUSB. Staff will be available to answer questions and help make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible.
- Can I register for orientation during the event?
Absolutely. At the Commitment Station, you’ll also be able to register for orientation with support from our team. We’ll help you understand your next steps and ensure you’re set up for a successful transition to CSUSB.
